App Description. Your boating buddy is an Application that will track your location. You can manually setting the tracking off/on. It will update your location to the Your Boating Buddy website every 1KM distance travelled to ensure your safety to allow your family/friends to follow you as you navigate the oceans or water bodies. Your Boating Buddy is a community driven safety website for all water/marine based boating activities. Your boating buddy has a goal to provide a safer environment for the boating community. Open the App, Allow the app to use your GPS function. Enter your desired username and tap on the Start Tracking text. To stop tracking simply click on the Stop Tracking text. This app will track your location (you can switch it off/on) and show it on a map on http://www.yourboatingbuddy.com Always see where your smartphone/you went! Start the app, enable GPS and tap on the Tracking Button. If it's green you're tracking and you can watch your position on the map on http://www.yourboatingbuddy.com Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
